We research and improve the experience of visitors in various centers for active entertainment and sports. We are inspired by the main principles of game design. We develop software and hardware solutions that are successfully implemented around the world.

We are now looking for a Senior Java Developer who will join us and help digitize how people have fun.

You will have the chance to work on a highly innovative product and actually the first climbing supervision system that uses artificial intelligence with a trained neural network to recognize, predict and prevent dangerous scenarios in climbing facilities.

You will work in an agile way in a cross-functional team (including backend, frontend, and UX). You will be a part of the team decision making process – from which features will be developed, through which technologies should be used, what the processes would be and who else will join the team.

Requirements:

• Practical experience in the design, planning, development, and deployment of applications;
•  At least 5 years of experience in Java backend development;
•  Knowledge of Relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL);
•  Experience in microservices;
•  Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, Maven, or equivalent;
•  Strong concepts & knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns are a must;
•  Experience with version control systems;
•  Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS;
•  Experience in unit/integration tests;
•  Knowledge in architectural, enterprise and design patterns;
•  REST/GRPC experience;
•  Curiosity in new technologies and building cutting edge solutions.
