We are growing and expanding our portfolio of products and services, and we are now looking for a Payroll and Accounting Manager for our Head office in Sofia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of accountants and payroll specialists responsible for the payroll of 650 employees and the accounting functions of operational entities.
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of daily operations.
  • Prepare and disclose management reports and standalone financial statements for the companies.
  • Oversee audits and tax-related activities.
  • Manage business travel arrangements.
  • Enhance team performance to consistently meet quality and efficiency benchmarks.
  • Reconcile data from various systems and sources.
  • Prepare standard month-end and year-end reports.
  • Conduct online banking activities and manage payment postings.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current accounting legislation.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Experience with Omeks and SAP is a plus.
