We are constantly growing and expanding our portfolio of products and services and we are now looking for a Chief Accountant for some of our subsidiaries to join us at our Headquarters in Sofia.

Our ideal candidate is a professional with experience, ready to guide and develop the team they work with.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages the overall accounting of some of Walltopia's subsidiaries;
  • Handles the monthly closings of the entrusted subsidiaries;
  • Conducts complete annual closing;
  • Prepares monthly and annual financial reports;
  • Participates in various tax and financial audits;
  • Submits all necessary reports and declarations required by current legislation;
  • Books primary and secondary accounting documents;
  • Leads a team of accountants who assist them in performing their duties;
  • Ensures the correct and timely preparation of payroll and recapitulation statements;
  • Manages the payroll team.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting/Economics/Law;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of labor and social security legislation;
  • Experience in a manufacturing or construction company will be considered an advantage;
  • Experience with international transactions;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Good command of English both verbal and written (at least B2);
  • Experience with SAP, Business Navigator, Workflow, Omex 2000, and Horizon will be considered an advantage;
