Tell us a little bit about your background and how you ended up at Walltopia?
I am Sylvia Mitrova and I am currently working in the Sales department of Walltopia. However, I started here as executive assistant to the CEO. I saw a job ad and taking into account the financial instability of the company I was working at previously, I really needed a new job. Everything happened very fast – first & second interview, logical reasoning test (which was fun) and a week later I saw witting in the “white room” of Ivaylo Penchev.
For how long have you been with the company?
I started working here in November 2012, and soon it will be 4 years. Wow! I haven’t done the math recently. So the answer is – long enough.
What are you doing currently?
Almost 2 years I am working in one of the most dynamic teams – sales.
How are things here different from some of your previous experiences?
I have not stopped learning new things and growing up. Everyday there is something new and interesting.
What’s exciting about the work that you do?
What about your job makes you jump out of the bed in the morning?
The tons of work I have to deal with. And my colleagues.
What do you love the most about your job?
It is not a uniform and I can’t get tired of it. Another essential part is the team I am working with either in Bulgaria or abroad. Understanding and mutual assistance is very important even though sometimes there are little sparks flying, but that is just because we are all “strong characters”.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced throughout the years?
Every day in the “white room” was a challenge. So many topics of conversation you need to be adequate at… Google search was my very best friend.
What is the one thing the company helped you develop as a skill?
There are so many both personal and professional skills developed – responsibility, proactiveness, speed, diligence.
How did you change through years?
I became wiser. The company is like a school from the real life and I am so grateful for that. I developed qualities and behaviors that previously did not have, but I wanted to.
Why did you choose Walltopia?
I had a hard time finding a job and accidentally stumbled into the company. I was lucky
Describe working here with one word.
